This documentary series shows the insights of tourists’ behaviour impacting the locals’ way of living in Costa Brava, Spain including Barcelona, Lloret de Mar, and Tossa de Mar. The contrast between our expectations and the reality of people living in the highly popular touristic areas are observed by Gertruda in order to raise awareness of those who play minor roles in destroying the surrounding properties and nature as well as the quiet and piece of those living there.

While enjoying their lives to the fullest, the majority of tourists forget the importance of following the “Leave No Trace Principles” as well as go loose and wild during their holiday as “holiday” is when we can do anything we want without considering people living there. The tourists, in general, are judged and blamed by locals for visiting and destroying their hometowns, however, local people living in these cities are accepting this kind of behaviour to keep the economy of the country stable.
